1 Peter 4:7, Romans 13:11-14
As we can see that in this present age bible prophecy is coming to pass. Let us take heed to the warnings and apply ourselves accordingly. For Jesus is soon to come.
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.(7)
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to wake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.(11)
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.(12)
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. (chambering: immoral acts with your body and wantonness: lustful, mean, being cruel or hard to control)(13)
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provisions for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.(14)
Through the scriptures we are given instruction after instruction on how to live and conduct ourselves while we are here in the earth.
We are instructed to be sober minded and not drunken with the things of this world, to watch unto prayer.
We are instructed to make no provisions for the flesh, for there is no good thing that dwells in the flesh. The End of all things is near. And to that note....
Christ's coming is nearer than most think. Just look at all the things that is happening around us.
The prophecies of the bible are in full motion. Because iniquity abounds the love of many has waxed cold just as the bible says ( see Matthew 24:12).There is lawlessness in the world. People are high minded, Lovers of themselves (see 2 Timothy chapter 3), giving themselves to sexual immorality (see Jude). Killing is at an all time high. Children are very disobedient to parents and elders. (see Matthew Chapter 10).
Our houses must be in order (our
soul). We must watch and pray. Be alert to any sin that will try to entrap us. We must be ready for Christ's return. The time is at hand.
WAKE UP! THE END IS NEAR!
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
