TRUST IN THE LORD

Updated: Aug 21, 2021

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust- firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something

confidence, belief, faith, certainty, assurance, conviction, credence; reliance

Trusting in the Lord means that you have firm belief that He is reliable, you believe what He says is truth. You believe He has the ability to do according to what His Word says. You are confident in Him with no doubt. You are certain of Him. You are convicted or convinced that He will take care of you.

You deem God credible. You have full assurance in Him, that He will do what He says concerning you. You also believe that God has the strength to carry you through.

The Word of God says in Proverbs 3:5-6 to Trust in the Lord with all thine heart ( all not partial) and to lean not unto our own understanding,(our own thinking) but in all our ways acknowledge Him (again all not partial), and He will direct our paths.

The way we think of a thing and the way we perceive a thing is not how God sees them.

Isaiah 55:9 says, For as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. God has everything under control, but we must trust Him for it and submit our ways unto Him.

Psalm 37:5 says, Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.

In all that you are going through, give it to God he can handle it.

Psalm 55:22 says, Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

The LORD is our Father, a Father takes care of His children. (see Matthew 7:7-11)

God is our provider, but we must believe in Him. Without trusting God we can have nothing.

Hebrews 11:6 says, But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is(that HE exists) and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Father God will be with us every step of the way if we only believe.

God bless
