Persecuted For Righteousness’ Sake

Have you ever stated these words before….
Why are they coming against me? What is this?
I haven’t done anything to them.
I know that I have uttered these exact words.
Holy Spirit revealed the Why to me through scripture.
We are not made like any other creation in the earth. We are made in the likeness and image of God.
Genesis 1:26-27
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
We were fearfully and Wonderfully made by God and this is how.
Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
When God got through making us He then said all that He made was VERY GOOD.
Genesis 1:26
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
But there were other beings before mankind that was made called ANGELS.
Well, the Bible records that there was a war in heaven between the Arch Angel Michael and his angels and Satan (dragon) and his angels.
Satan and crew lost the war and where do they have to go for punishment? EARTH!
Who are on EARTH! “Mankind!!!”
Who was made in the image of God.
“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
Revelation 12:7-9
Oh boy, and then this declaration was made….
“ Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
Revelation 12:12
Now let the PERSECUTION BEGAN!
“And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.”
Revelation 12:13
Who persecuted? SATAN/DEVIL/DRAGON.
We must learn that it is the working of Satan behind every persecution as a believer.
Satan wants us at odds with one another.
That is his character to bring chaos. He is MAD that he is here in EARTH with Us who is made a little lower than him.
Psalm 8:4-5
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory.
We are encouraged in Ephesians what to do in the times of PERSECUTION:
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Ephesians 6:11-12
Satan sends agents of darkness: accusers, mess starters, liars, peace breakers, slanderers and more. It is his spirit working in and through them. This is why we must pray for those spirits to be broken off of persecutors as well🙏🏽🙏🏽.
“But I say unto you…..and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”
Matthew 5:44
Encouragement to those that are being PERSECUTED. I just recently went through an ordeal of this kind. Holy Spirit reminded me of this just by a conversation with another saint.
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for their's is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”
Matthew 5:10-12
Those who are PERSECUTED for standing on the truth of God’s Word are BLESSED! The kingdom of heaven is yours🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 GREAT IS YOUR REWARD IN HEAVEN!! Glory to God 🙇🏽♀️

Thanks for shaing such timely truth. The world needs to remember that Satan is our enemy as God's people and he uses many different disguises to attack us, but God, our Heavenly Father dressed us for the spiritual warfare --His body armor. Ephesian 6:11-18 KJV.
