Joshua 1:8
There is a command unto us in the Book of Joshua chapter 1 to study of or meditate in the law of God.
Obedience to this command produces two promises of God towards us.
The verse read as follows:
This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8
When we obey according to this scripture to meditate on the WORD or Law of God and to follow what is written therein, (Promise 1)then our way will be prosperous, (Promise 2) and we then shall succeed in life. Without being a READER and a DOER of the WORD we cannot be prosperous and have success. We must study the scriptures and obey them in order to have a prosperous and successful life in God.
Let us together, meditate on the Law of God day and night. Do accordingly what is written therein: so we can have a prosperous and successful life in the LORD.
