Jesus Our Example

His Life, Death, Burial & Resurrection

For some of us, the teaching about Christ was always about His Death, Burial & Resurrection but rarely about His Life. Jesus’s Life on earth is very important to the believer. It is the order of things for us in the earth. In this blog we are going to go over what Jesus‘s Life, Death, Burial & Resurrection means for us as believers in Him.

1. His Life: On earth shows us the way we must live.

Jesus taught the commands and statues of the Father to guide us in love and harmony with Him and one another.

2. His Death: Shows us the Father’s love for His children. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” 3. His Burial: Shows us that we are dead to the things of the world.

Our baptism of death to sin.

Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

4. His Resurrection: “It’s the proof of

triumph over sin and death”

Romans 6:5-10 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin —7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
